About Dive With Seaman

Thank you for visiting

My name is Murat DEMIRAG and I am a freelancer scuba instructor since 2005.  I launced this blog on March 2013 and try to write helpful articles about diving frequently.

My Scuba Diving Jouney

It all started with a mask, snorkel and fins when I was a kid. Just like every “underwater lover” born in 80’s, I was one of the Jacques Cousteau fans and grew up with his documentaries.

I was 12 when I have first inhaled from a scuba diving tank and watched the bottom of the sea. I then realised that this is going to be my world and my life will go on spreading the word.

My very first scuba diving certification was CMAS 1* diver. Then I met with PADI instructors when I was a fresman at the university and crossed-over to PADI as an Advanced Open Water Diver. This journey went on like this and in 2005, as a result of a real hardwork with PADI Course Director Friksos ROTHMAN, I became a PADI Open Water Instructor.

In 2007, I became a CMAS 1* Instructor and crossed-over to SSI as a Dive Control Specialist Instructor in 2010. Since then, I am working with SSI and go on my scuba diving courses with my students. I give SSI scuba courses from the entry level up to dive professional levels like Dive Guide and Dive Master. I am a proud member of cKc Divers Dive Center in Karaburun-Izmir/TURKEY.
